Making research make sense

As part of a three-day course held four times a year at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), I teamed up with Graphic Designer Marianne Tingkov and DTU´s Communication Department to give a presentation on… well, how to give a presentation. In this course, PhD students are challenged to present their research to high school students. Our role is to share the do’s and dont´s of using visuals and to help them structure their talks so their work becomes not just understandable, but memorable.
