Making research make sense

As part of a three-day course held four times a year at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), I teamed up with Marianne Tingkov from the Communication Department to give a presentation on… well, how to give a presentation. In this course, PhD students are challenged to present their research to high school students. My role is to share the do’s and don’ts of using visuals and to help them structure their talks so their work becomes not just understandable, but memorable.
